Tony Couch has over 35 years of experience as an auctioneer. He has worked auto auctions in Memphis, TN; Birmingham, Montgomery, and Huntsville, AL; Tupelo, MS, and Atlanta, GA. Tony has also been a real estate agent since 1980. Couch Auction and Realty opened in Florence, AL in 1995, expanded to Atlanta, GA in 2004, and then made its way to Tennessee in 2007. Tony currently has broker and auctioneer licenses in Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia. He also has extensive experience selling real estate, automobiles, livestock, antiques, and estate auctions. Jean Batson is a graduate of Auburn University and joined Couch Auction and Realty in 1996. Working as a bookkeeper and administrative assistant since 2006, Jean helps with our auction process from booking to closing. Jean obtained her real estate license in 2003 and earned GRI, SRES, and ASP designations as a REALTOR®.
In addition, she holds memberships with REBAC (Real Estate Buyers Agency Council), Council of Residential Specialists, Women’s Council of Realtors, and Shoals Chamber of Commerce. Ralton McCarley obtained his Alabama Real Estate License in 1996 and his Alabama Associate Broker License in 2000. After 14 years of serving the Alabama real estate community, he obtained his Tennessee Affiliate Broker Real Estate License in 2010. It was in 1995 that Ralton first discovered his interest in real estate when he and his wife purchased a vacation rental home near Pigeon Forge. Ralton was a graduate of Samford University, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY where he earned his doctorate.
